Columbus County Register of Deeds Services:
The Register of Deeds office files all death certificates for Columbus County. A certified copy of a death certificate is $10.00. This copy may be used for any legal purpose. A plain copy is $.25.

A certifed copy is $10.00 and a copy for genealogy purposes is $.25. Please send money order.
Please send a note with all the information such as name at birth or death, date of birth or death, parents' name with the mother's maiden name, your signature now, and a self addressed stamped envelope. Please include your phone number if we need to call you if there is a problem.

1. Select the form you need below. You can fill out the form on your computer and then print it out and sign it, or print the blank form and fill it out by hand.
2. Include a copy of a photo identification such as a driver licenses
3. Include a $10.00 money order for each certified copy
4. Make money order payable to Columbus County Register of Deeds.
